HTPC Version 1
This was my first attempt at an HTPC. It was really more of a multimedia PC, as I only had my Sharp TV at
the time. It was mainly used to watch movies and play music from some network shares. I built an IR receiver
that was compatible with winlirc and used that control Winamp remotely. I used a 40x2 LCD and a winamp plugin
to display the media info. The case is made out of acrylic, purchased locally and cut by me. I used Weld-On 4
to bond the acrylic. Overall, it worked pretty well for what it was made to do.
